common room, website
In common room’s website, projects are divided between projects; texts; common books, their book publishing imprint; and common room 2, their exhibition space.
For the design of the collective’s website, there is an emphasis on removal of informational hierarchy. All typography is typeset in Arial in one type size and in lowercase, full justified, and with negative paragraph indentation. Alternating red and black letters identify buttons, and when a user hovers over a button, a negative black background with white text is activated, created a strobe-like effect while navigating through the website.
